Pintail Beetle

Description:

This teardrop-shaped beetle of the Mordellidae family is running in circles on this leaf. This species is common near rivers. Similar to Glipa annulata but could be a new species under the sauteri-species group.

Habitat:

Madai Waterfalls Forest Reserve Park (Pusat Sejadi Hutan Simpan Madai Baturong Kunak), Sabah.
