This is an adult male of one of three species: broadhead skink (Plestiodon laticeps), five-lined skink (Plestiodon fasciatus), or southeastern five-lined skink (Plestiodon inexpectatus). From your photo, you cannot tell which of the 3 it is. This link has info on all of them, but you will have to keep this spotting identified only to genus,
