Roadside Hawk

Rupornis magnirostris

Description:

The Roadside hawk is a very common bird in Argentina. Easily recognizable due to the black hooded head and the barred chest.

Habitat:

It is common in most of the Country, except in the Patagonia and Andes area. I took this picture in Ribera Norte Natural Reserve, in San Isidro, Buenos Aires Province.
