Mushroom

Description:

Brown and white caps. Concave and hairy. Largest cap 12mm.

Habitat:

Found growing on composite lumber. Composite lumber is made from wood fibers and plastic. It is used to replace pressure treated lumber which doesn't last very long in our humid climate. Composite lumber is not supposed to rot or be attacked by insects. So I was very surprised to see these mushrooms.
