Tarantula hawk wasp

Description:

I get this often, they are about 4 cm very big from the regular wasps I get. Their sting is so bad it took my husband 3 days for the pain to go away. They are not aggressive but my husband tried to get it away from the computer screen with his hand and she came back and got him 3 times....

Habitat:

Gallery Forest. 900 Meters-3000 feet above sea level, next to Tanaca National Park, a Pasture , and in a Garden with Endemic trees, plants and flowers of Costa Rica.
