Description:

This one does not have a common name that I can find. If anyone knows of a common name, please let me know. Found on front door of a house at night. He did not seem disturbed or upset that I was nearby taking his photo. He appeared content to sit on the front door most of the night without moving. There was a porch light within two feet of where he was sitting. I suspect he was sitting there soaking up some UV light. (-:

Habitat:

Housing area, but many of the houses have gardens with lots of trees and bushes.
