at the window of my hotel room..
I can't believe that such large insect can exist in the heart of Kuala Lumpur city.
It is possible that it came from the forest nearby, attracted to the city lights.
Definitely swallowtail moth, though I disagree with Lyssa zampa. Lyssa menoetius looks like a much closer match. Perhaps someone can shed some light on this.
