False Tiger Moth

Dysphania militaris

Description:

Fat body, black and yellow stripes, yellow, black and white wings. About 10cm wingspan.

Habitat:

Our garden near jungle and mangroves, Phuket, Thailand.

Notes:

I have seen a similar moth a few days before but that one was more red/orange. Check http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/147... Someone suggested it was a Arctidae but was not shore about the Genus.
