Yam Hawk Moth

Description:

Theretra nessus is a widespread Asian Sphingidae moth species. The wingspan of this moth is between 90mm to 130 mm. The moth has a mixture of brown, green and orange colors. The central body is darker than the wings and limbs.

Habitat:

Forests of Kundasang, Sabah, Malaysia.

Notes:

I saved this moth out of a drain one early morning. >>>Map accuracy : 10m diameter.
