This one was right in front of our office.:D Yes, this one looks scary when magnified, not as cute as the blue one.:) I'm not really into spiders but since there's lots of them here, too many perhaps, I've decided to photograph them. Others are quite hard to photograph though since I don't have a macro lens, and just uses the macro function of the camera. Happy spider-ing to us? lol

Nice! I like spiders too... but for some reason the "thorns" sticking out from the legs gives me the shivers! lol

We used to have one of those really BIG spiders that spins an "X" in the center of the web at our place in Dumaguete City. (In Bisaya we call it "Lawa".) Unfortunately, it would always spin the web across our sidewalk that was lined on both sides with gumamela bushes. My poor Dad (6 ft 4 inches tall) would invariably walk right into it! He hated that spider. LOL

Wow! Laguna is really blessed by nature! I am beginning to love these spiders :)

Thanks, Agnes!:) Did you see the metallic blue spider I just uploaded? They were basically in the same area together with the caterpillars (at least 3 kinds) and the pupae.
