Description:

Leaves are basal and grass-like. Flowers typically pale to deep blue/purple. 5+ flowers per stem.

Habitat:

Grassy slopes, meadows. Low to middle elevation. Rainshadow climates. (Polar and Mackinnon)

Notes:

Root is edible, BUT typically grows near its deathly poisonous relative, Meadow death camas.
