Six-Spotted Fishing Spider

Dolomedes triton

Description:

After seeing a very large, black snake flee into the water I sat down for a while to see if he would return for a photo op. The snake never came back, but I did see this very interesting Six-Spotted Fishing Spider (AKA: Fishing Spider, Nursery Web Spider, or Raft Spider).
