@ Tukup...almost every friend of mine and my family members tease me because I put ZOOM above every other consideration...that and one handed operation... your camera has seen...pretty exotic creatures ...I can only dream about...:)

I don't think it gets much prettier than that. What a beautiful spotting. Lovely photos, Sukanya.

The first link I got had a YouTube evaluation of it ,https://youtu.be/VMHNl3reKnw. Sounds really good. Thanks again Sukanya. I was noticing this is a 40x optical zoom. Mine is only 12x. Yours is a 20.3 mega pixel and mine is only 12.1 Thanks again Sukayna. Happy shooting :-)

Sukanya, I too am an auto mode, aim and shoot person. I see people taking closeup pictures from a mile away with lenses so big it takes two men and a little boy to carry them (almost :-). I have shot thousands of snake shots with one hand, as I have to control the snake with the other. I have a PowerShot SX 130 IS. A photographer friend warned me with as many pictures as I take, the camera will loosen up and not get as sharp of pictures. Mine is there and I need to get a new one. I was wondering if PowerShot is still the best choice. This is my 2nd or 3rd PowerShot. Thanks for sharing. I'll look into the SX730HS.

Thanks Tukup....I use two cameras... The first is ALWAYS with me...I can hold and shoot with one hand. It is theCanon Powershot SX730HS with 40 X optical zoom.
The other is a slightly older bridge camera...heavier too Canon Powershot SX 50 HS...it has 50 X optical zoom.

I am so happy you think my bird shots are good!!! I wish the birds knew they have a dedicated photographer and stayed still.
Would love to know and learn what camera you got...I'm an auto mode, aim and shoot person with AVID birder friends whose camera lenses are like barrels of cannons.

Beautiful bird Sukanya. Thanks for sharing. On a personal note, I am in the market for a new camera. Would you mind telling me what you use? You get really good bird pictures. Thanks.
