Description:

Fruticose lichen with primary thallus foliose. Podetia greyish, richly branched, commonly terminating in spiky tufts with pointed, dark apices, surface of podetia appearing speckled, with groups of green algal cells on a paler background; pycnidia and apothecia dark brown, on the tips of branches. Widespread, generally on dunes or in rather dry, neutral to basic grassland.

Habitat:

Spotted at mediterranean forest. On the ground with lots of moss. Parque Nacional de Monfragüe
