Vespid Wasp Nest

An unusual arboreal nest of a Vespid wasp, situated along the center stem on the underside of a palm leaf. It is perfectly protected from heavy rains.

Habitat:

Forest area of the Zoomat Park above Tuxtla Gutierrez, Chiapas, Mexico, 350 meters.
