Red-tailed Hawk

Buteo jamaicensis

Description:

This bird has a mix of white, brown, and black feathers. It has yellow eyes It is a rather large bird that is at least two feet in height and has an almost six foot wingspan.

Habitat:

This bird lives in a rather large nest that's located in an isolated tree in the middle of a marshy area. It appears as though the negs has bed added to over the years.

Looks like a red tail in an old eagle nest!

Osprey are brown and white. Solid brown back, solid white belly, and stripes on the face. Your bird isn't like that. And you can see the red tail on your bird.
