Description:

I'm not sure what has happened to this plant -- it looks like it has a couple of goiters! Some kind of galls? oh, also, anyone know the species by sight?

Habitat:

Don Valley -- large urban park.

Notes:

In the background you can see the DVP -- Toronto's freeway that runs right across the city.

The galls are most likey made by the Goldenrod Gall Fly, Eurosta solidaginis. http://bugguide.net/node/view/10482
I am not sure about the species of Goldenrod.
