Marbled Orb Weaver (Male)

Araneus marmoreus

Description:

This spider was 1cm long or less. It had spiky, striped legs, a stripe down the middle of its cephalothorax, and a marbled abdomen. It was carrying a blob of "goo", which I'm guessing was lunch.

Habitat:

Spotted on a bench in a mixed forest.
