Black-and-yellow broadbill

Description:

The broadbill was perching on a branch in an open area, probably hunting for insects around the area. It has bright blue beak, yellow belly and black wings with yellow markings on them. You can see that its chest is slightly pink in the second picture.

Habitat:

Lowland rainforest of Danum Valley Conservation Area.
