Description:

Plant yellow-brown to ochre; branches of capitulum curved; Stems pale to red; Stem leaves oblong triangular to triangular, about 2/3 the size of branch leaves; Branch leaves subsecund, pores not so abundant on concave side, but appearing with a chain-like pattern throught the hyaline cells on convex side; stem cross section with a small cortical layer.

Habitat:

poor fen, growing on aside a deep pool. about 1000'.
