Nice find! Since you know the species, please add the scientific name (Alligator mississippiensis) to your spotting. If you have any other spottings missing the scientific name (and you know the species) it would be great if you updated those as well.
The database here at Project Noah needs to have a complete common and scientific name in order to properly use your spottings, otherwise it considers your spotting as "unknown", plus, you might just help another user identify his or her own spottings. :-)
