Notes:

I've always called these Assassin Beetles, but I have no idea if that is their true common name. My mother said my uncle was bit/stung by one as a child, and it bruised up horribly! I wish I had gotten better shots of its abdomen; the edges had holes through them, reminded me of a wooden flute. Little bugger wouldn't quit moving though. Lol
