Description:

This bird is between 15 and 19 cm, and weighs 9g. The head, neck and upper chest is violet blue. The rest of the plumage is dark green. It has a small white spot behind the eyes. The pinions are dark brown. The raquis external primaries are extended. The tail is dark blue. The nose is slightly bent down and black. Its main characteristic is the long and forked tail.

Habitat:

It can be found throughout Brazil, except in the Amazon.
