White-eared Bulbul

Pycnonotus leucotis

Description:

Bulbul... White cheeks. Touch of yellow on the vent.

Habitat:

This place is an old historical ruins almost no one visits...I saw this bird but unfortunately my glasses darkened in the UV and I could not see it at all...if I took off my glasses I could not focus...this issue has never troubled me before...the net result is one blind shot where the bird is just about included (extreme left) so I cropped that. You will have to squint to see the bird in the other shots...I really struggled to show my camera where it was.

Nice spotting Sukanya. There is a sub species - P. l. leucotis found in India.
