The fruitbody is tightly flattened against the decaying branches, orange-brown in colours and of irregular, vaguely circular form measuring 3 to 15cm in diameter.
Found on decaying branches on fores floor in lowland mixed (oak, beech, fir) forest, on hills in Geneva lake Valley.
