Web Debris Spider with Prey

Cyclosa sp.

Description:

I am not entirely sure what species of spider is shown in my pictures, but it is using its web decoration (which seems to be made from dried leaves) as a shelter in which to hide. Its abdomen is extremely rounded and swollen, so I think that this is a gravid female Cyclosa sp. In the first photo is is seen biting the abdomen of a bug which has flown into the web. In the second photo, the spider has retreated back inside its web decoration which is known behaviour of Cyclosa spp. I am a little more sure of the prey. It is a Leaf-footed Bug, either Homoeocerus marginellus or H. puncticornis. The marks which would enable an unequivocal identification are on the dorsum which can't be seen in my photos.

Habitat:

I spotted this spider on its web (with its prey) in a mass of wild foliage growing around and tangled with Tropical Whiteweed (Ageratum conyzoides) in a rice field, overgrown with weeds, between rice growing seasons.
