Trichoglossus moluccanus
They are colourful parrots which are "unmistakable with its bright red beak and colourful plumage. Both sexes look alike, with a blue (mauve) head and belly, green wings, tail and back, and an orange/yellow breast." (Birdlife Australia) Check out this video (https://youtu.be/9Yh8ZnChokQ ) of a cheeky little Lousy Jack (see spotting: https://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/18... ) squawking away, grabbing the tail feathers of the Rainbow Lorikeets!
There was a little group hanging around at and near the park bench my mum and I were sitting at, at a park in Nanango, QLD. The park has a small creek running parallel-ish to the road which kind of borders it from a private paddock.
I had been eating a cream bun and some cream fell on the ground. One of them had decided to try it out which you can see on the beak of the one on the right. I guess the second one wanted to try it out but not off the ground! :D An interesting article by Australian Geographic talks about the seven other species of Lorikeets in Australia of which the Rainbow Lorikeet is the best known: (https://www.australiangeographic.com.au/... )

Updated video link in the description section because the old one wasn't working.
I have added a video to this spotting of a Lousy Jack grabbing the tail feathers of the Rainbow Lorikeets while we were sitting at the table watching it all happen. Makes me laugh :D

Haha great shot. They've been in my yard this past week, destroying plants. I can't help but love them.
