Florida Scrub Jay

Aphelocoma coerulescens

The only bird endemic to Florida, the Florida Scrub Jay is a large passerine with blue plumage, a medium-sized bill and a long tail with a pale chest and belly. Their habitat is strictly restricted to scrublands with scrub oaks, which is why their range is so small.
