magnolia warbler

Dendroica magnolia

Description:

I spotted this as a magnolia warbler. Has yellow throat and heavy black stripes on chest.. Blackish above with white eyebrow & yellow spot on rump.

Habitat:

This magnolia warbler was spotted at the Bayou Sauvage National Wildlife Refuge in New Orleans, Louisiana. This refuge was heavily damaged by a hurricane and will take several years to restore. Even though, there were plenty of little birds in this refuge.
