Black-necked weaver

Ploceus nigricollis

Habitat:

On banks of river Congo, in a park-like green wooded area in central Kinshasa; seen on reed vegetation and tall grasses, with many other species (canaries, other weavers, trushes, manikins)

Notes:

For a quite long-time I kept this photo on ice, for two reasons... First, it's really very grainy and of low quality - but as it came, I never had another opportunity to observe this bird. And second, for a long time, I was unable to ID the bird - even after many discussions with fellow african birders, a clear suggestion was formed - but, because of the quality of shot, doubts persist... I submit it as it is, if you have any other idea, please shoot...
