Blowflies are between 6-14mm in length,. The brown or golden blowfly is yellowish in clour. Rango tumaro is the Maori name for blowfly


New Zealand has nearly 50 native blowfly species many of which are endemic.

Adarsha it is not a Green Bottle Fly. The Green Bottle are bright irridescent in colour here in New Zealand and quite distinctive but thanks for your suggestion
