Parasitic Wasp

Description:

Small metallic parasitic wasp, 4 mm long (body length), with a long strong ovipositor. While the top of the wasp is metallic, the underside is of a very peculiar blue-green color. The wings also seem to be hairy!

Habitat:

Garden lights, semi-rural residential area, San Cristobal de Las Casas, Chiapas, Mexico, 2,200 meters.
