Metalic blue tortoise beetle

Stolas chalybaea

Description:

This beetle just went through its last molting, and is an adult now. The exuvia can be clearly seen in the second photo. Its carapace is still transparent, because it is too fresh, but soon it will get its real color. An adult can be seen here: http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/170... and a pupa can be seen here: http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/210...
