This is a tiny butterfly in the family Lycaenidae (blues) having a wingspan of ~20mm. Larval host plants include species of _Indigofera_ .

Habitat:

Grasslands and meadows. In Sri Lanka they are most common in the dry zone.

Notes:

This is the smallest butterfly species in Sri Lanka.
