Crab of some kind. It wasn't too big, maybe about 6cm wide. It keep its pinchers tucked very close to its body and would move them ever so slightly up and down making it look like a puppet (a muppet or something from Sesame street). Some type of box crab maybe?

Hi Leuba. Now that you mention it, he does look like a toad!
He looks like a puffed-up toad. Might be trying to imitate a stone fish or similar. Just brilliant !
