Description:

A piece of this was thrown out by the waves on the sea shore. Looks like seaplant with little bubbles. Some might mix it up with kind of sponge but is definitely isn't an animal this time.

No worries, I was just as surprised as you, when I first realized that this kind of algae -stuff, was actually the eggs of several Banded dye-murex mollusks :)

These are the eggs of the Hexaplex trunculus sea gastropod, or to be exact, the eggs of many Hexaplex trunculus mollusks.
