Black Ant

Description:

-approximately half an inch or less -6 legs (obvious),dark brown/black ant, with short antennae on head -large abdomen -produces stinging bite I happened to find out myself :)

Habitat:

Found on bromeliad type plant, in tropical, humid Oahu, Hawaii Small ant "hills" in house (small indentations ex. chip in wall), or outdoors. Found in red dirt.
