Lithobius peregrinus

Description:

Dark red/brown in colour, measuring around 30mm length.

Habitat:

Lives amongst decaying wood and in gardens. Introduced to Tasmania in the 1930's, this species is found mostly in the urban areas to which it has been able to spread via the transport of firewood and soil.
