Two Spine Spider

Poecilopachys australasia

Description:

Small spiders, less than one centimetre across. The upper surface of the female's abdomen is yellow and olive with two white horn-like ‘spines' that give this spider its common name.

Habitat:

Found in our back yard on an orange tree hanging out on the under side of a leaf.

Mary this is a female juvenile the colours get brighter as it ages. Please consider adding this to Biodiversity of North Island New Zealand
