Bird of Paradise

Description:

Large orange bird-like flowers atop tall stalks amongst large green leaves. Here the seed pods, with bright orange centres to which shiny black seeds attach inside three-lobed dried brown pods with a light interior.

Habitat:

South east queensland, subtropical gardens.
