Description:

In males, the hindwing is 32 to 35 mm in length and the total body length ranges from 47 to 52 mm. The eyes are pale green and the body is marked with a distinctive pattern of pale yellowish green. The base of the abdomen (segments one to three) is swollen. The anal appendages are white. Males and females are similar. The shape of the anal appendages is a reliable distinguishing feature.
