Orange Stilt-legged Fly

Description:

At first I thought it is an ant, but when I zoom the photos, the white lines was on the wings part not on its abdomen. Brisbane Insects website said: Flies in this family Micropezidae have very long legs, although the front pair is usually shorter. Their body is slender with patterned wings. They usually mimic either wasp or ant. This Orange Stilt-legged Fly has a brown head and orange thorax. Legs are brown to orange brown in colours. Wings are patterned with white strips on dark brown. Abdomen is black to dark brown.
