I'm going to school now, learning from a great rehaber! & volunteer at the sanctuary! I love it! It's a good chance he could have gotten stuck in the storm.
Oh I love a good rescue story!! I volunteer with raptor rehab, so I know how it feels!! Wonder if he got caught in Sandy?? Great series!!
He is at a Wildlife Sanctuary, here in North Carolina. He was found on the beach & bought into PAWS. Only about 3-4 months old. Seems as though they were flying south, stopped in NC, and the sudden cold got them in trouble. There are a few at the Sanctuary now, most having similar issues, coming in emaciated & with some frost bite on their pouches, & feet. Luckily they are in good hands there!
He is adorable!! What's his story??
