Crambid Moth

Hydriris ornatilis


This is a Crambid Moth that i found on the wall of my house. This moth is brownish in color, and it has silver patches on its wings. The size of this moth is about 8 mm in length.


- Spotted on the wall of my house. Usually, it can be found around the house (especially near the light sources).


- This is a moths in the Crambidae family. It is attracted to the light (possibly a nocturnal insect). Thanks to Nuwan Chathuranga and Psyche (Dr Seow) for the ID.
