Ribes roezlii
Red and prickly. About 15-20mm in width.
Mixed/coniferous forest.
How nature says do not touch.
Also known as a choke cherry. They are wonderful to eat. Use tweezers to hold and burn off spines. Slice open with a knife, turn inside out and eat its meager fruit inside. Also a great survival food.
