Description:

Freshwater fish. One of the very first fish to be domesticated. It is also one of the most commonly kept aquarium fish. Goldfish are usually between 10 and 12 inches long. The normal life expectancy is 20 years however fancy goldfish life expectancy is much lower at about 12 years.

Habitat:

Slow-moving freshwater. Thrive in slightly murky water.
