The most common species of squirrel you will see in the greater Seattle area are the grey squirrel. They are invasive species. The native species are harder to spot - I have seen a brown squirrel a few times, but I am not sure if there is black one. Alternately this could be a grey one in really bad lighting. Do you have a picture without any filters/modifications?
