Yea with the Poplar-like bark it is definitely Norway Maple.

Good call Travis! I forgot about the invasive Norway Maple, which is the one known to have Red-Purple leaves USUALLY.

If you break the petiole and a milk-like substance bleeds out, it's a Norway maple (Acer platanoides)
