Australian Grapevine Moth

Phalaenoides glycinae

Description:

Probably a Medium size butterfly that is mostly black with some white markings. It has a huge abdomen which is a redish colour at the tail end.

Habitat:

Coastal trees of South Austraila

Notes:

I thought this may have been the chequered swallowtail cause it looks abit like a swallowtail... but the abdomen is far to big and doesn't have red on it and the underside of the wings are different.
