This photo was shot from inside my house.
Wikipedia states: "It can be found in southern Canada, through the eastern United States from Maine to Texas and south through Mexico. It is found in woodlands, gardens, shrublands, and swamps."
This was a very active, vocal pair, spotted here in late afternoon just before the winter solstice, in my garden on a mostly bare forsythia bush.
